General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

For a diabetic patient, control of fungal infection requires a multimodality approach as
- plenty of liquids
- vaginal hygiene
- local application of antifungal and steroid creams
- vigilant control of blood sugar
- precise antifungal and antibiotics as per the swab culture report
- avoidance of vaginal or anal sex, if involved.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel,
General & Family Physician
